Free 7th Grade Algebra Help Is Easy To Find Online
Free 7th Grade Algebra Help Is Easy To Find OnlineI wanted to discuss some of the free 7th grade algebra help that is available online. Not only can you find it on the Internet, but many sites offer videos to accompany the learning process. This can be a great help if you are having trouble getting your child to understand certain concepts.Math, as always, is about logic. You need to teach your child that logic is their best friend when working with numbers and formulas. If you want your child to learn the basics quickly, it is time to provide them with as much information as possible about basic math concepts. As I mentioned above, there are plenty of free math guides and videos that are designed to show you how to work with math as if it were a field in which they are interested. These are great for children that have a background in science, but that is not able to grasp the concepts easily. With this type of math help, it will give your child the tools they need to build up their mathematical knowledge. In addition to being able to easily comprehend how math works, these videos also allow your child to apply their understanding of math to real life situations. This can be a great tool for teaching your child the concepts of solving problems. This video is an interactive experience, which allows your child to solve problems and get a grasp of how their basic math knowledge applies to everyday life. This type of learning is very valuable to parents because it provides them with a way to let their child know that they are learning at the same pace as the rest of the world. They can relate their understanding of math to what others are experiencing. This can lead to a better understanding of the value of math and how it relates to the rest of life.It is also important to remember that teaching your child how to work with numbers is an ongoing process. This means that while it might seem like your child is reaching a plateau, he or she might be far ahead of where t hey were before. If they are unable to explain to you what they are doing, why you need to check out the free math videos online, or where to find more help with algebra, there is no time to wait around and do nothing.Your child has to be exposed to math at an early age in order to truly understand the principles behind it. The best way to ensure that they know this as soon as possible is to give them the tools they need to reach higher levels of math.

Mental Health Transformation Blog Getting Started
Mental Health Transformation Blog Getting Started pexels.com However, Iâve done quite a bit of research on different classes, and quickly realized that there isnât enough time in the day to add something like this to my schedule. Then, I came across YogaGlo Online, which offers classes online for individuals that arenât near the California location of the studio. The biggest perk is that the online option makes it easier than ever to get fit without having to leave the house. Another perk is for those that are beginning yoga and uncomfortable with going to a studio to learn, as thereâs now an option to participate without an audience until youâre more comfortable with your skills. Thatâs probably the aspect that Iâm the most excited about, as I truly have no flexibility and no idea what Iâm doing. The program offers teachers that work specifically with beginner-level classes, more intensive classes, travel classes, etc. So really, thereâs a class for everyone. The other draw to this yoga site is that there are meditation classes offered as well, combining the physical fitness with the mental fitness into one, all-inclusive workout. This has been missing from my life up until this point, so Iâm very much excited to get started on both aspects at the same time. Of course, the program doesnât come without costs, as itâs going to run $15 a week, but considering the cost of a single class in an actual studio, I think that this is a bargain. Plus, I feel there are more choices to be made individually and that Iâm not necessarily working around someone elseâs schedule, but choosing options that make the most sense for me. Especially for college students, this is a very important aspect of the program. While many campus recreation centers do offer yoga and meditation classes, they are typically scheduled and in-person, which may be preferred to some, but certainly not to me. Plus, the amount of sheer stress placed on college students makes meditation all the more valuable, so itâs certainly something to consider. There are other online programs (and a few Youtube channels) specifically dedicated to yoga and meditation and offered for free, which fits in literally everyoneâs budget. So the options are out there, you just have to do a little digging for them. Anyway, this new mental health initiative is something that Iâm excited to begin, and Iâm hoping that itâll translate over into my physical health as well. The goal is to add yoga and meditation to a part of my daily routine, which will prevent me, at least for 120 minutes, from sitting on the couch and watching Netflix. Iâm also hoping that itâll entice me to try to eat healthier foods, adding more vegetables and fruits to my diet and removing the unwanted sugars completely. Either way, this is a healthy step in the right direction, so itâs something that I plan to dedicate myself to. So my healthy routine is going to begin on May 29, and I encourage everyone to join me on this journey. All you have to do is sign up for YogaGlo (which offers a 15-day free trial, just in case you arenât sure the program is for you) and Iâll keep you posted as I begin my daily mental health routine! Join the classes that sound best for you and let me know your thoughts! College students across the country should value their mental health, and this is a great way to do so with minimal cost and time commitments!

The Many Risks Of Using Splenda
The Many Risks Of Using Splenda Photo Via: https://i.ytimg.com Nowadays, it seems as if most foods are bad for you, but what if the health implications donât just lead to weight gain? What if some of these health concerns lead to more serious illnesses such as, I donât know, cancer? Well, a recent study shows that thatâs exactly what the problem with Splenda, the artificial sweetener, is. While those that use the sweetener are doing so as a healthier alternative to sugar, a recent study shows that this is not actually the case. While it may save a few calories now, it could potentially cause major issues down the road. A new study, recently published in the âInternational Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health,â condemned the previously âsafeâ sweetener in stating that the potential dangers to a personâs health are too great, formally recommending that everyone avoid the sweetener. How did the study result in this startling outcome? The study followed lab mice that were fed sucralose (present in Splenda) on a daily basis throughout their lives. These mice later developed leukemia and other blood cancers. So for those that use Splenda on a daily basis in their coffee, tea or other drinks and foods, this is an alarming issue. The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), a group that assesses the safety of food additives, formally recommended consumers stop the use of Splenda, a huge change from their previous position that the additive was âsafe.â Of course, there are quite a few factors working against this new study as well. For one thing, the lab behind the study has been criticized in the past, making their studies questionable. However, senior scientist at the CSPI, Lisa Lefferts, says, âfor most food additives, the safety studies are conducted by the manufacturers who have financial incentives,â something that makes this study much more reliable as the lab reportedly received funding with no âspecial interestsâ in mind. Another issue with the study lies in the amount of sucralose the average consumer consumes. The doses of sucralose given to the mice in the study would be the equivalent of a person drinking a minimum of 10 cans of diet pop per day. Of course, thatâs very unrealistic, but when you think about the other foods and drinks you use Splenda in, it adds up quickly, making this a cause for concern. Plus, according to Lefferts, âEven if you consume less, that doesnât mean thereâs no problem. When something causes cancer at high doses, it generally causes cancer at lower doses, the risk is just smaller.â So basically, just because you arenât drinking 10 cans of pop a day doesnât necessarily mean you arenât at risk to develop cancerous cells. While it may be difficult to take one, mouse-tested study seriously, itâs also important to know there is an abundance of research out there prompting consumers to avoid sucralose. For one thing, the sweeteners have been linked to weight gain rather than loss, defeating the purpose of using it, and it has also even been linked to blood sugar and insulin level problems, causing spikes and dips in these levels that actually lead to food cravings later on, which in turn, prevents consumers from losing weight. So while itâs very easy to discount one study and continue use of the sweetener, more and more evidence against sucralose is making the potential health problems much more difficult to ignore. The CSPI firmly believes that consumers need to stay away from sucralose, and theyâre more than likely correct in their assessment. But before you go back to regular sugar, look into safer, healthier alternatives to both Splenda and sugar. Stevia extracts and other, inventive ways to sweeten drinks and foods are always researchable nowadays, making staying healthy and avoiding a cancerous future a much easier task. The bottom line: avoid Splenda. Your life might depend on it.
The Benefits of Medical Tutor Jobs
The Benefits of Medical Tutor JobsOne of the largest and most sought after jobs in the field of medical training is medical tutor jobs. It is a very good choice for someone who wants to learn about the clinical sciences and other health care related fields. Tutors usually work as clinical instructors in medical schools, in clinics, and in other health care facilities.Clinical instruction is basically anything you see when you're walking into a clinic or hospital. You might hear a doctor's voice, see a nurse while working with patients, see an intern, or even someone on a stretcher. All of these could mean that you are being taught by a clinical instructor. What you do in these situations is to be able to learn something about the way the medical field operates. A clinical instructor is the person who can help you learn more about the field.Tutors have to be able to deal with medical procedures, medications, diagnostic equipment, and lab settings. Being able to go through these areas can greatly increase your knowledge about the field. It also allows you to experience everything from different procedures to laboratory work and more.Medical tutors need to be trained in order to be certified. There are various certification programs offered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. By becoming certified, tutors are then able to secure a great job and a nice salary. The next step is going to be a medical college training program. By going through a formal training program, students are able to gain a lot of knowledge. It will show them how to conduct clinical experiments, how to use lab instruments, and how to learn about the clinical sciences.Next comes licensing. Most people who earn this certification have a certificate and a license to practice. To find out if you are eligible for these certifications, consult with your state's board of medical licensing. If your state allows you to work as a medical tutor, then you will need to complete the certifica tion and take the licensure exams. It is also possible to pursue a degree in clinical studies. Finding an Organic Chemistry Tutor
Finding an Organic Chemistry TutorIt may be difficult to find an organic chemistry tutor but you can do so. And, when you do find one, you need to make sure that you hire someone who has previous teaching experience in the area of organic chemistry. You should also make sure that he or she is willing to help you with your problem and that they have time to teach you every single lecture that is required for the organic chemistry syllabus. When you hire a tutor, you must ensure that you use the same tutor for all of your lectures in Organic Chemistry. All physics books contain the prerequisites and materials for the first and second year, so you will not need to buy a separate book for each year of study. The best option is to teach from one book and review from another. You will get a much higher grade and better lecture time by following one book than by trying to learn everything from the different books. If you want to take advantage of online research tools such as equation solvers , you should take advantage of classroom exercises. This is how you get the best use out of your tutor.Classroom exercises include problems that you can choose from, sometimes when you are able to create one yourself and other times when you are presented with problems on a test that the teacher will solve for you. You should know how to choose the problems to solve when it comes to taking notes so that you will remember what the teacher is saying. The only time that the teacher may not be able to solve a problem for you is when you do not have access to the chemistry syllabus or textbook that you are using. The instructor is not always available, so you must make sure that you find a tutor who can solve the problem for you.Synthesis and reactions play a major role in all classes. It is vital that you understand the relationship between these two concepts and you should always work on these concepts before proceeding into chemical synthesis.Synthesis and reactions are the key concept s in all of the chemistry syllabus and if you do not understand these concepts, you will not be able to do well in chemistry. There are many individuals who go through many years of schooling but never understand the concepts and techniques behind synthesis and reactions. When you find an organic chemistry tutor that you can trust, you will notice that you will gain a lot more from them, not just in your studies but in your life as well.
How Much Does Studypoint Tutoring Cost?
How Much Does Studypoint Tutoring Cost? Are you wondering how much does studypoint tutoring cost? There are many ways to find out. First, you will need to determine the age of your child as he/she will require some form of ongoing attention throughout his/her academic experience. This will be very helpful in estimating how much does studypoint cost.If your child is a toddler, then you will not have to pay that much to enroll him/her in studypoint lessons. Kids at this age can learn at their own pace, so there are no fixed costs involved. They may take a lot of time and get distracted by extraneous things. Because of this, this type of teaching will not be as efficient as an older child. But, the great thing about it is that you don't have to shell out a lot of money for tutoring. If your child is an adult, then you will need to pay more than the usual cost for tutoring. This is because they will have greater demands on their time, and their concentration level will be higher. It is com mon for adults to become confused during their lessons, and so they may not learn as much as they normally would have. In other words, adults who are enrolled in studypoint lessons will not be able to absorb the lessons to the fullest. One solution is to join a class for children who have the same interests as yours, so you can learn at the same time and solve problems in tandem. For students who need tutoring in the middle or even for students who are already with a college or university, you may want to find out how much does studypoint cost. You can find this information by asking the guidance counselor or the school administrators. Most schools and colleges will provide you with a list of tutors. If you ask around, you can also find the tutors' names, telephone numbers, and even home addresses. Once you know all this information, you can evaluate which tutors are worth the price and which are not. What will be the best way to compare studypoint tuition fees between different tutor s? The simplest way to do this is to look online. You can do this through several different websites, such as StudypointCollegeReviews.com, TutorCompare.com, CollegeBoard.org, and Yahoo Answers. When you use these resources, you will come up with all sorts of different prices that you can compare. You will also want to find out how much does studypoint costs if you just want to start tutoring. You will be able to assess this by doing your homework. Look into the testimonials given by other students who have used study point. Ask them how much did they charge and how they managed to help the students at that point. When you shop for a tutor, be sure to look into all the details. Even if you are using these tutors for one or two sessions, make sure that you take a look at the fees. You will only want to spend that much on tutoring if you truly think that you will benefit from it.
Where Can You Study Ecology
Where Can You Study Ecology Learning About Ecology in the World and the Classroom ChaptersWhat is Ecology?Environmental StudiesBest Places to Study EcologyCareers in Environmental StudiesOver the course of its history as a discipline, ecology has taken on many different names â" including bioecology, bionomics, and environmental biology â" all of which are correct. While it can often be confusing to keep track of the many different disciplines relating to the study of living organisms, due to the diversity of specializations and branches within the biological sciences, understanding the definition of ecology can actually be quite simple.Ecology is involved in not just in delineating the structures and functions of living things, but also their environments. This means that ecologists can be found in everything from sustainable agriculture, restoration of natural habitats, dealing with microbial investigations â" basically anything dealing with the natural world.Observational sciences have been around since the birth of civilization MahimaBiology Teacher 5.00 ( 10) £30/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors AndyBiology Teacher 5.00 (2) £15/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors AlishaBiology Teacher 5.00 (10) £9/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors SaifBiology Teacher 5.00 (9) £22/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors FrankBiology Teacher 5.00 (8) £90/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors HeavenliBiology Teacher £9/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors SiobhanBiology Teacher £60/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors MackenzieBiology Teacher 5.00 (2) £15/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutorsWhat is Ecology?Chances are, if youâre studying ecology, whether at the undergraduate or masters level, you may already have your own definition of what exactly ecology is and what the kind of social and political implications the discipline holds. However, it is important to always take a look at the history of interaction of this particular discipline with the various branches within biological studies. The evolutio n of the discipline of ecology starts with the growing interest in both biodiversity and the concept of understanding the organism in its habitat or ecosystem. Understanding everything from terrestrial and biotic organisms to the sustainability of one natural resource or more have become central topics and themes within the field of ecology. While the history of the discipline can be traced back to ancient times, the concept of modelling an ecological system or environmental impact is a relatively new idea and has become extremely important in both understanding and ameliorating environmental conditions. The term ecology actually comes from the Greek word âoikos,â which translates to home or household. This signifies a significant change in terms of the implications of ecology. Historically, humans have depended on ecology in order to survive. The relationship between organisms and their environment â" living and nonliving â" formed the basis of understanding harvests, seasonal cycles, and basic medicinal practices.Giving this practice a word related to home, centuries later in the 19th century, meant a realization that ecology was closely tied to human behaviour and life. This means that ecology can penetrate even economies, relating to things such as energy budgets and wildlife conservation efforts. This is also why ecology as a discipline is closely related to governments, as the measurement and maintenance of parks, lakes, and urban communities are often a direct responsibility of the municipalities and states theyâre in. If youâre interested in learning more about these types of biological sciences, or simply want to study for ecology specifically, keep reading.Look up for biology tutors near me on Google.Environmental StudiesAs mentioned previously, ecology, like many areas of study that make up biology, can take on many forms due to its interdisciplinary nature. What this means is that there are many different areas of study that you might be fo cusing on at one particular moment, and while there are many approaches to studying ecology, it can be extremely helpful to start by defining the different branches within ecology. From genetics and cellular development to evolutionary aspects of science, ecology penetrates many different fields â" here, we give some examples and definitions to help you out.Ecology and EvolutionOne of the most important moments in the history of ecology was the development of evolutionary theory. The start of this theory can be pinpointed to the work of Charles Darwin in the 19th century, postulating that organism are born by a process called evolution. This definition integrated within it the concept of natural selection, which is the process by which organisms with more beneficial characteristics survive more than those without, and therefore transfer these characteristics to their offspring. This theory was of course expounded upon by many other professionals in fields like botany, which deal hea vily with understanding the relation of plants and their environments, and microbiology â" however, it was ecology that saw the greatest improvement. The study of the evolution of species and environments has now been improved with advancements in technology.Population EcologyThis field of study involves understanding the processes and events that effect the population flows of animal and plant populations. While this may seem distanced from everyday life and study, you actually experience and learn about this all the time. The city where you life in, for example, has many connections to the populations of the animals that inhabit it now or once inhabited it.This isnât limited to animals â" plants also form an important part of population ecology. For example, geographers often take plant species into account when identifying specific territories. Factors such as pollution, city development, genetic mutations and other mico-organismal processes, and human activity can all impact this field.Understanding microorganisms and their role in ecology is vital to medicineCommunity EcologyThis branch of ecology often goes hand in hand with population ecology. This is due to its area of focus, which has to do with studying the function and organization of species in particular geographical areas and habitats. A biological community is defined as arising from the interaction of species with one another.Within this field, you will often encounter tools such as trophic pyramids and graphical representations of energy flows. Some common examples that you are likely to encounter in your study of ecology include depictions of photosynthesis and food webs. This field of study is extremely important to work in conservation.Population DynamicsThe dynamics of population are tied, of course, with population ecology. However, this specific term deals with the actual number of individuals within a population, and how that number changes over time. While youâre more likely to e ncounter this subject in higher levels of biology and ecology, it is a dynamic field and combines the power of biological and mathematical principles. This field is particularly dependent on graphical representations of populations. For example, you are likely to be familiar with different theories and graphs about population growth in humans â" the most obvious example being census information given by national and international bodies.Environmental ScienceWhile it is often seen as perfectly acceptable to use ecology and environmental science as interchangeable in relation to understanding fields of study, it is important to note that environmental science can also be regarded as a field of its own and often collaborates with fields pertaining to the study of animals or that of plants. This particular branch of ecology forms an interdisciplinary network of study, including ecology, chemistry, physics, geology, and engineering. It should not be confused with environmental studies, wi th deals exclusively with the relationship humans have to the environment.Environmental science, however, holds more quantitative aspects and is interesting if you enjoy learning about ecology but also have interests in the fields of economics and mathematics.Conservation BiologyThanks to many of the worldâs global leaders, this particular discipline has seen a rise in popularity within the media. The main goal of conservation biology is to use a multidisciplinary approach to addressing the rise and fall of biological diversity. It is often seen as a âmission-oriented crisis discipline,â meaning that these scientists will often use theoretical information and try to apply it to solving issues like over-harvesting and habitat loss and fragmentation. Because this discipline requires a vast knowledge about ecosystems and habitats, as well as the skills to quantify them, it is important to understand both ecology and analytic mathematics or economics.Ecology has opened up a world o f different professionsBest Places to Study EcologyThe best schools, in terms of studying ecology, will obviously depend on which specialization youâd like to get involved with â" either from the list above or another one that you have studied. Some of the best schools for ecology around the globe for environment-related ecology are:University of California Berkeley, United StatesWageningen University and Research Center, NetherlandsStanford University, United StatesSwiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, SwitzerlandUniversity of Oxford, United KingdomIf youâre looking to study in the UK, some universities worth checking out for biological sciences include:University of St. Andrews, ScotlandUniversity of Cambridge, EnglandUlster University, Northern IrelandUniversity of Cambridge, EnglandCareers in Environmental StudiesFortunately, jobs in ecology are both diverse and numerous because of its interaction with many other disciplines. If youâre interested in becoming a sci entist in ecological fields, and are looking for dynamic and integrative solutions to today's most pressing concerns, this might be the right field for you. While being a biologist often means working in fields closely related to laboratory work, being an ecologist often means taking part in research and opportunities outdoors, both on the molecular level and on a bigger, organismal scale. If youâre interested in working in this field, youâre average salary will depend on the specialization you would like to take. For example, whereas environmental scientists earn about £60,000 annually, hydrologists earned about £75,000 per year. How to Sequence a Hatha Yoga Class
How to Sequence a Hatha Yoga Class Which Hatha Yoga Sequence is Best for Your Needs? ChaptersHatha Yoga Session BasicsA Good Place to Start: Sun Salutation SequencesSequencing a Yoga for Beginners ClassWhat About the Sun and Moon?As though you didnât already know it, hatha yoga is a very popular, very common form of yoga in the western hemisphere.Hatha fundamentally refers to yoga postures, meaning that your favourite type of yoga â" be it Ashtanga, Iyengar, vinyasa and power yogas are all hatha.By definition, hatha yoga is meant to be physical; the word hatha itself means âforceâ, âeffortâ or âwillfulnessâ. That doesnât mean that every hatha workout must be forceful; with the wealth of poses to choose from, you could design a workout for virtually any purpose. Many yoga teachers do just that! The easiest example to think of would be a beginners yoga class versus an advanced yoga session: if youâre just starting practising yoga, you need to understand how to âmove from your coreâ before graduating to more demanding poses. In beginner yoga classes, much of the new studentsâ focus is on their teacher: how to move just so, where to put oneâs hand and so on. Focusing on the breath is a little-understood concept at that point and there may not even be a mind-body connection.More advanced yoga devotees have the buy-in and experience needed to permit their yoga instructor to step things up a little; to move on to more elaborate poses â" poses that beginners would not be able to do.That is just one reason why yoga classes should be sequenced.Another excellent reason to carefully select your poses is that hatha yoga touches on so many aspects of the self, there are seemingly endless combinations of poses to derive a wide array of benefits â" from digestive help to relieving arthritis.Which poses are most beneficial for which conditions? How many poses should a yoga teacher incorporate into a session for beginners? Which poses should be included? What about sequencing hatha yoga sessions for intermediates and advanced yogis? These are the questions your Superprof aims to help you answer today. The invigorating crescent lunge is ideal for yoga breathing! Image by Khusen Rustamov from Pixabayrule of thumb for hatha yoga suggests starting with the standing poses â" warrior poses, gate and tree poses, moving down to the kneeling poses such as âcow and catâ and downward-facing dog.The seated poses would be next, among them the âbound angleâ and âcow faceâ poses â" and let us not forget âcraneâ and âpeacockâ! And then, we arrive at the lying down poses, with âcobraâ and âsphinxâ being very similar. Finally, savasana! Enjoy your âcorpseâ pose; youâve earned it!Some yoga teachers have preferred poses that they will include in every session â" the crescent lunge is a particular fav of mine, for example. However, if you are currently undergoing yoga teacher training or hope to soon, you should always be sure to mix things up a little bit so that your students do not become bored with the same sequences in every class.By some estimates, there are th ousands of yoga poses to choose from, meaning your yoga sessions need never be the same.Just one little exception to that point: if you are leading restorative yoga sessions, you should probably keep things pretty much the same, seeing as that particular yoga sequence is meant to serve a particular purpose! With these general guidelines in place, letâs take a look at some targeted hatha sequences.A Good Place to Start: Sun Salutation SequencesMany yoga teachers like to begin their class with a sun salutation; it is a great way to warm up, stretch and work major muscle groups. Sun salutations are particularly effective in vinyasa flow classes and also in power yoga classes because each movement flows into another.A benefit of these Suria Namaskar mantras â" the Sanskrit name for sun salutation sequences is that they coordinate breath with movement. For instance, as you sweep your arms upwards in the âraised armâ pose, a deep inhale feels inevitable because your ribcage naturall y expands on that move.Likewise, as you flow into a forward fold, exhaling is inevitable; it is almost as though you were compressing a bellows. While practising the sun salutation, it seems as though your bodyâs positions mirror your breathâs inward and outward cycles. As you can see by this seated forward-fold, yoga is sure to increase flexibility! Image by Jenia Nebolsina from PixabayThat is rather the point of this sequence. When done correctly, each âreachingâ move is done on an inhale and each release is done on the exhale. There are many ways to sequence a sun salutation but most yogis agree that one should start in mountain pose (pranamasana) and then flow into âupward saluteâ or hasta uttanasana, its traditional name. The rest of the sequence is a follows:Uttasana or standing forward bend: feet shoulder-width apart, bend forward at the hipsAnjaneyasana or crescent moon pose: a deep lunge with head back and arms raised highAdho Mukha Svanasana: the downward dog positionsAshtanga Namaskara: knees and chest down, hands under shoulders and hips raisedthis asana has many names including âchest, knees and chinâ, indicating what should touch the mat when done properlyUrdhva Mukha Shvanasana or âupward-facing dogâ: head and torso rais ed; hips and legs on the matAdho Mukha Svanasana: again, flow into the downward-facing dog poseAnhaneyasana: again, the crescent moon position, this time with the other foot backUttasana: again, bend forwardHasta Uttasana: reach again for the heavens with your head raised, really opening your chest upPranamasasa; back into mountain pose; the salutation is complete. Namaste! This sequence is more commonly known as a Type A Sequence, from which you may logically infer that there must be a Type B.Type B substitutes the âforward bendâ pose with the chair pose, which looks like the yogi is about to sit down on a chair, albeit with arms raised high. The Type B sequence includes the forward bend but calls for the yogi to grab their toes. It also includes warrior poses.Of course, nothing says you cannot include other asanas in your warmup sequence; some yoga instructors may insert a boat pose (navasana) or a seated forward bend. The important takeaway of sun salutations is that they are m eant to open the body up and coordinate movement with breathing; to ready the mind and body for deeper reflection of the fundamental yoga philosophy: that the mind, body and spirit are one.Did you know that yin yoga does not call for any standing asanas? The extended triangle posture features in many hatha yoga classes Image by Irina Logra from PixabaySequencing a Yoga for Beginners ClassUsing the Sun Salutation sequence is a great way to start your class â" indeed, some instructors base their hour-long class on these 12 asanas alone, but you should probably add a few asanas to make each session complete. The average hatha yoga session includes between 20 and 30 asanas; about half of them should be dynamic.Hatha yoga is a âyangâ yoga, meaning that there is more movement involved than, say in a yin yoga class. Each session should start by working the body. Once the body is âopenedâ, warmed up, practitioners can focus exclusively on breathing which, in turn, leads to a meditative state. After your sun salutation, deciding which asanas to include in your sequence really depends on the results you are aiming for.If you are looking for general flexibility and other benefits of yoga, you would use a combination of standing, hand-and -knees and seated poses, culminating in a series of laying down poses. Just make sure the poses flow into one another! In this table, weâve listed a sequence of asanas to try; naturally, you may replace some of these poses with your favourites.Hatha Yoga Sequence for BeginnersNameTarget Area(s)NotesSurya Namaskar or Sun Salutationworks your entire bodya series of 12 poses to warm the bodyStanding PosesThe focus is on strengthening major muscle groups and building balanceWarrior poses, Tree poses, Gate poses, Extended Side Triangle and othersHand-and-knee postureswork your core as well as lower jointsCamel pose, cow-and-cat; upward and downward facing dog; plank and side plank.Seated posturesgain flexibilityhead-to-knee, seated forward bend, bound angle, cow face poseLying down poseswork your abs and backOn your stomach: Sphinx, Cobra, Pigeon, Bow On your back: Bridge, Fish, Plowsavasana corpse poseresting your entire bodyNamaste! What About the Sun and Moon?Somehow, word has gone a round in yoga circles that âhathaâ is actually the melding of two words: âhaâ for sun and âthaâ for moon, implying that hatha yoga is a balance between solar and lunar energies. Or, if you wish, between yin and yang.Unfortunately, that theory is not correct. While âhaâ does indeed represent âsunâ, it is not the only word for the sun, nor is it meant to represent the sun in âhathaâ. Likewise, âthaâ may well stand for âmoonâ but Sanskrit texts give no indication of such. While the practice of hatha yoga is millennia-old, focus on the physical is a relatively new aspect of the discipline and, focusing oneâs efforts solely on balancing the physical and mental aspects of yoga leaves out the most important aspect, the spiritual.Really, it is more than a matter of semantics.According to Swami Svatmarama, spending all of our energy trying to balance two forces constantly in flux overlooks the fundamental philosophy of yoga. He averred that we should instead f ocus and guide the mind so that the bodyâs energy can flow as it should. Now learn how you can sequence any yoga classâ¦
